Read This Before your Wedding :: 10 Best Wedding Heels And Why
All brides have that hard task of finding both the perfect and most comfortable shoes for their wedding day. Your shoes must be just as fantabulous as your dress, but there is a lot of thought that goes into it.
Your height against your partners? Will you be standing on grass? Will you be dancing in them or changing to flats? So many questions! And I'm here to help.
Below I have listed the best wedding shoes I could find out now for purchase. Also included are some of my tips for you as well. When searching for your wedding shoes, make sure to stick to these points:
- Be completely secure: Ankle strap or mary-jane strap is necessary. (Sling-back ok too) NO PUMPS!
- Material is everything: Make sure BOTH outer and inner lining of your shoe is 100% leather or suede.
- The Instep: This means how high you are standing. The height of the heel minus the height of platform equals how many inches high you will be standing on your toes. I recommend a maximum of 3.5" instep to keep you comfortable all night. (Example: A 6" heel should have a platform of 2.5" to keep your instep at 3.5")
- BONUS: Grip: Don't slip and slide on the bottom of your dress. Make sure the shoes have a grip on the sole, and if not purchase adhesives for the bottom.

Such a fabulous heel with dainty details! Try these on though, because you don't want your pinky toe sticking out! (Remember I vented about that on this blog post). #weddingshoes
